Draft Code of Practice on Equal Pay

Summary: The draft Code of Practice on Equal Pay, as presented to Parliament on Tuesday 27th July 2010, pursuant to section14 of the Equality Act 2006.

This guidance is the Statutory Code of Practice on equal pay. This is the authoritative, comprehensive and technical guide to the Act's provisions intended to ensure that women and men receive the same pay and other contractual benefits when they are doing equal work. It draws on case law and precedent to illustrate where and how the Act's provisions on equal pay can be brought to bear in real-life situations.
