An exciting new opportunity is coming to Melton Mowbray!

Voluntary Action Melton is pleased to be one of the first two organisations in the East Midlands chosen for this new national programme.

We are looking for two resourceful outgoing people with the ability to empathise and encourage, and a wide range of practical skills including one to one listening and organising public meetings. If chosen you will work in Melton, be trained and accredited as one of 500 community organisers in a new national movement.

Contract: 51 week fixed term training contract.

Salary: £8.50 per hour (subject to tax and national insurance deductions).

Hours: 30 – 35 hours per week f/t preferred 15 – 17.5 p/t possible

Selection will be via a local interview and a telephone interview.
