Summary: An update on the Equality Act 2010
The Equality and Diversity Forum thought it might be helpful to share our understanding of what is happening with implementation of the 2010 Equality Act.
On 3 July Ministers announced that the majority of provisions in the 2010 Equality Act will come into force on 1 October 2010. This is the same implementation date that the previous Government had planned for these provisions.
