EDF Launch 3-year strategy

Summary: The Equality and Diversity Forum has launched its strategy for 2011-3 at a reception with Rt Hon Theresa May, Home Secretary and Minister for Women and Equalities, and Trevor Phillips OBE, Chair of EHRC

EDF say their vision is of a society in which everyone can fulfil their potential and make a distinctive contribution; a society where diversity is celebrated, people can express their identities free from the threat of violence and everyone is treated with dignity and respect; a society where your chance to flourish is not limited by who you are or where you come from.

Despite positive changes in social attitudes and life chances in the last thirty years, Britain is still a long way from this vision. EDF has three roles to play in helping to make it a reality; our work over the next three years will be dedicated to them.

Please email the Equality and Diversity Forum at info@edf.org.uk if you would like a printed copy of the strategy document.
