Parliamentary Debate on the Equality Act

Summary: On 13 September, Lynne Featherstone, Minister for Women and Equality, introduced the Consequential Amendments Order of the Equality Act to the House of Commons Committee Debate.

The main purpose of the order is to make the provisions of the Equality Act 2010 effective. The order was subsequently agreed by the House on 14 September.
