Trust Age Equality Conference - 24th November 2010

Summary: Mental Health for All Ages - Wednesday 24th November 9:30 - 16:00 People of all ages live and recover from mental ill health. Understanding and acknowledging this is the key to a healthy life.

This event is being run by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

The Key themes will be:

• Mental health and age
• Links between age, mental wellbeing and physical activity
• The impact of age on the workforce
• Assumptions of age and ageing
• Age in a BME context
• Ageing in a forensic setting

Presenters include:

Professor Mike Cooke, Chief Executive Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

Nigel Parkes, Regional Manager, East Midlands Family Action

Dr Irene Cormac, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust
