REDP Information Event: Embedding Equality into the Fabric of Society

The official soft launch of REDP took place on the afternoon of Thursday 2 July 2009 at Highpoint Conference Centre, Glenfield Road, Leicester. The event was opened by Ian M Robson, from Leicester Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Centre, one of REDP's core partners.  Isabelle Livingston, of the National Equality Partnership, was guest speaker at the event and set this project in the context of related work around the country. Dee Martin from Leicestershire Centre for Integrated Living, one of the other REDP core partners, gave a presentation which gave the audience an opportunity to hear about REDP and the rationale behind it being created and the aims of the partnership.
