Working for REDP

The Regional Equality and Diversity Partnership (REDP) is a new and exciting project supported by the Big Lottery to create a voice for the voluntary sector in the East Midlands and to work in partnership with regional Public Sector organisations.
There are currently no vacancies at REDP.
Have you ever wanted to be involved with a charity, but questioned "Where does the money go?" Well please read on:
We are called LCIL and that stands for: Leicestershire Centre for Integrated Living. We are a charity, based in the City Centre of Leicester. Together, as an organisation of disabled people supporting disabled people, we don't look for sympathy; we don't recognise the need to beg. We can't promise you any royal recognition for charitable work. We can promise that by working with us a treasurer on our management committee, you will be part of very exciting times within the environment of social care today, our views and values are incredibly positive and our ethos is to inform and knowledge share, our goal to ensure that all disabled people are able to take advantage of life's opportunities and to live independent lives. With Government budgets being squeezed tighter than perhaps we have ever seen before and the voice of disabled people becoming louder, our next few years are so important.
If you have a background in accounts and have a desire to maintain that interest and able to commit a few hours of your time each month on a voluntary basis, with an organisation currently working to: a number of contracts from a diverse range of funders. Then please consider an organisation equipping itself for the future. Please give me a telephone call 0116 2225005, or email me on: stephen.cooper@lcil.org.uk. I'm the newly instated CEO and I look forward to meeting with you, and I will share with you our very exciting vision for the future.
