To create an inclusive partnership with representatives of regional statutory bodies and key equality organisations working together to raise the profile of equality, and diversity; to secure a positive image of the region, greater sustainability, growth, equality of opportunity and equality of access to employment and  services including housing, education, transport, business development, social care and health.
